Chinese marketplaces are causing us grief because the billion plus populace is using ginger and honey brews to prevent swine flu. This has taken the ginger farmers by surprise and making us think about buying a ginger farm in Hawaii. Maybe that makes our drinks a preventative for swine flu. I hope so. So far so good.
Wow-Chinese are eating up ginger for swine flu prevention imagine if the masses in the US start seeing REED’s Ginger as a way to combat Swine Flu. “BOOM to the moon Alice!” Nawice!~
This seems like another example on how US based companies dependence on China for their supply. I imagine the price they offer is reasonable, but more challenging with the increased demand. It would be great if Reed’s was able to stimulate the US economy in Hawaii and even more amazing if they were able to grow organic.
Reed’s needs to differentiate itself by going organic and sourcing locally. The product is a premium product, the only thing that will make it better is an organic label, fair-trade sourced and/or locally sourced. I think a Hawaiian ginger farm is a GREAT idea. Go Reed’s!!
