Ginger Brews
Currently, we make six flavors of Reed’s Ginger Brew: Original, Extra, Premium, Raspberry, Cherry, and Spiced Apple. Non-alcoholic, all are freshly brewed in a brewery using fresh ginger root, spices, and fruit juices. All of our beverages use filtered sparkling water.Other soft drinks use flavor crystals, chemicals, or other flavorings to maintain an inexpensive and consistent taste. That’s why some “natural” drinks have no color! All the flavor and health benefits of Reed’s brews are from the actual ingredients. The use of fresh ingredients leads to slight variations in both flavor and the heat of the ginger.

What is floating in my bottle of Premium Ginger Brew? Sometimes the brew is clear but sometimes it has floaties. Can you tell me what causes this?
Floaties are safe and delicious. Are they pretty? Not really. They are caused by ginger reacting with the fruit juices. It is fine to drink and happens every 10th batch for some unknown reason.
Reed’s Rx
Ginger is a traditional herbal tonic for nausea. It has been in use in certain parts of the world for thousands of years. The earliest writings from China and India talk about ginger and its health promoting properties. Other cultures throughout history, including the Roman Empire, have used ginger extensively to settle stomach complaints. More recently, Vitamin B6 is being used for its anti-nausea properties. Ginger Candy
Reed’s Crystallized Ginger is the only one we’ve found that is sweetened with raw cane instead of white sugar. Our tender Crystallized Ginger is custom-made for us in the South Pacific Islands. The process is an ancient one that hasn’t changed much through time.After harvesting baby ginger (the most tender kind), the root is diced and then steeped in large vats filled with simmering raw cane syrup. Steeping for several days, the ginger is then removed and allowed to crystallize into soft, delicious nuggets.We are happy to offer these treats that islanders have long enjoyed for their health and pleasure.
Ginger Ice Cream
Our ginger ice cream is made with cream and milk from a small dairy. (We have met the cows personally and they are treated very well plus the dairy has filed for organic status.) The milk and cream is combined with the finest fresh baby ginger root puree, REED’S ginger candy and a natural raw cane sweetener to make a delicious ginger ice cream.
Virgil’s
Made Naturally for the Root Beer, Cream Soda, BLACK CHERRY CREAM SODA, AND REAL COLA Connoisseur, Virgil’s is one man’s passion to create the finest soft drinks ever produced. After retiring from a very successful career in the beverage industry, Ed Crowley set out to research what it would take to make the finest soft drink ever. As a result of his research Ed developed the recipe for Virgil’s Root Beer. Recipe in hand, his search for the finest ingredients took him around the world.
